The purpose of this unit is two-fold. One of the focuses is to expose students to animals and nature in an interesting and educational manner. Too little time and effort is devoted to the study and contemplation of God's 2nd book of nature. Secondly, there are too many people who have dwarfed character traits and an extremely small ability to work successfully with other people. Among other things, this unit seeks to utilize Biblical stories to illustrate the need to develop character traits such as loyalty, trustworthiness, responsibility, and joy. "Tell me and I will forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I will understand."
